What Makes YOU Smile?
I am a person who loves to smile. I smile at strangers, I smile as I sigh over beautiful landscape, I smile in amusement, I smile sarcastically, I smile at precious people and thoughts . . . I just love to do it.
In fact when I’m not smiling my face tends to hurt quite a bit. I get a sore forehead from my brow furrowing. So I figure I’m a smily person who ought to smile.
I found a huge reason to smile the other day when I was about to reply to some comments left by lovely readers when what should I see but a link telling me that the wonderful Bree over @Twinkle in the Eye had awarded me the the Liebster Award.
The Liebster Award is given to blogs with under 200 followers who inspire others.
“What? I inspire her!?!” I animatedly questioned/exclaimed.
The huge smile I had plastered to my face I’m sure was a comical sight to behold. It was just what I needed on a forehead furrowing day.
On condition of accepting this award there are a few rules that I must follow:
- Copy and paste the award on your blog
- Link back to the blogger who gave you the award
- Pick your five favourite bloggers with under 200 followers who deserve to be recognised and leave a comment on their blog letting them know they have received the award
- Hope the five chosen bloggers will continue to spread the blog award love
I would love to award the following 5 ladies I have discovered in the beautiful Blogosphere:
- Rhianna over at A Parenting Life, I love catching up with her at all the linky parties. She is super encouraging too.
- Carly at My Life in Colour, she blogs about her family and photography and her new lil bub!
- Jessica the Tattoo Mummy. We met on Kidspot and this chick is awesome. With her what you see is what you get
- Emma Jane at Forever & A Day. I met this young woman on Kidspot too. She’s a young mum who’s overcoming her obstacles.
- Kate at Our Family Making Do. She’s an “In Real Life” friend and I have just discovered her blog. She is super crafty, an English know-it-all and a generous friend.
Pop over and give these ladies some love, follow their blogs, leave them a comment.
Small blogs are full of wonderful stories just waiting to be unearthed.
I hope my smily moment, for which I am very thankful, spreads far and wide while I link up with Kate Says Stuff for Thankful Thursday.
